Mocha

Mocha is a group consisting of three young ladies who sing in three part harmony. The group originally started with two singers. Couffé Goring who is signed to the record label Couffé Music and Manouche Charles. Together, under the name Mocha, the duo ministered for over a year. It was after this span of time in the month of January 2010 that Miriame Charles officially joined the group. Mocha currently performs locally in the state of CT where they reside. They are looking forward to ministering around the US and then go international! They are bonded as sisters and love to do the Lord's work. They use their gifts to please him alone. Mocha's ministry is not only to touch others lives and bring them to Christ, but also offer their gifts unto Christ as an offering. God has done so many marvelous things in their lives! They will not only accept his gifts but offer them back to him as a sacrifice of praise! Be blessed!

Miriame M Charles

Miriame M. Charles was born in Danbury, CT on September 15 1988. She is of Haitian decent, born to parents Massillon Charles and Emila Charles. She is third to last of six siblings. Two of her siblings are also part of the Couffé Music family. Esdras Charles, who is one of Couffé Music producers and Manouche Charles who is a member of Mocha. Miriame grew up attending French Speaking Baptist Church of Danbury, a local church in Danbury, CT. It was there she accepted Christ as her Lord and personal Savior at the age of 12 and a few years later was water baptized. She's been serving the Lord ever since. She currently attends Victory Christian Center where she worships and serves. Besides singing, Miriame also enjoys writing, ministering in spoken word, and dancing with the dance team Metamorphosis. Just a few years back she couldn't see herself on stage ministering to others. The Bridge and Couffé music has been a great impact in her life by showing her what true family is. She is more willing than ever to now step out and share her gifts for the Lord. He is calling His people to do His will!

Manouche Charles

Manouche Charles was born September 17, 1989 in Danbury, CT, to Haitian born parents Emila and Massillon Charles. Manouche is one of seven children born to her father, and one of three born to her mother. Manouche grew a passion for singing during her time spent going to church in the Haitian community. She shares the love for music with her older brother and sister Miriame and Esdras Charles. Manouche grew up in Danbury and attended Danbury public schools. Around the age of 12, she drifted away from the church and her passion for singing due to traumatic events that took place in her life. In November of 2006 at the age of 16, Manouche moved to Kissimmee, FL where her life would forever be changed. Manouche started to increase in her spirituality by writing poetry, reading the word, and simply crying out to God. In June 2008, Manouche took the opportunity to move back to CT, and moved in with her uncle for a short time, and then godmother. Other series of events caused her to almost become homeless, but by the grace of God she was taken in by Jade and Vidal Goring. There her love for God increased even more, and her knowledge of family and music progressed. Also she met her co-label mate Couffé Goring. At first Manouche was very shy about singing, but the two made a dynamic duo. In 2009 Manouche got her GED and immediately afterwards went to Naugatuck Valley Community College for her EKG certificate. She now still attends NVCC majoring in General Studies. She aspires to become a Nurse or a Linguistics Major.

Couffé Goring

Couffé Goring now a senior in High school, was born in Queens, New York. She joined Couffé Music as an artist at the age of 15. Later on, she met Manouche Charles, and they became close friends; rather sisters. The more time they spent together they both realized they shared a passion to sing. They created the songs, “Where would I have been” and “Broken”. They soon came up with their group name“Mocha. As they began their journey as a young group they started off performing at open mic’s to share the songs God put on their hearts. Little did they know there was still one more piece to complete the puzzle. Miriame Charles, Manouche’s sister, later joined the group “Mocha” in the year 2009. Once Miriame joined the group the trio knew they were complete. That year they began to work on songs to music and their first new single is called,”Enough”.Couffé wants every song that they do to minister to groups of all ages, and hopes that their use of real –life experiences and the ways God helped, to continuously give hope. She is very excited for the new journey that God will be taking them to, and are ready for the many possibilities and opportunities that await them.
