Justine Marie Torres aka J.Legacy* born to David and Marie Torres on August 4, raised in Danbury, Connecticut, she is of Puerto Rican and Dominican decent. Justine started singing at the age of 8 with Jesus La RocaChurch in Danbury, CT. Raised in a Church Community most of her life she made a decision to give her heart to Jesus Christ at the age of 16 and soon afterwards she was baptized.

Justine faced many personal struggles as a young lady and started to be influenced by the wrong people which lead to a life of partying for a season of her life.

In 2007 at the age of 18 Justine was introduced to The Bridge Christian Creative Arts Center in Danbury, Connecticut which is a Christian based facility that connects the community and family to the arts and many of its respected art forms.

With the assistance of her family and The Bridge Christian Creative Arts Center, Justine made a strong decision to recommit her Life to Jesus Christ. She started being influenced by The Word of God and has taken Philippians 3:13-14 and put it into practice in her personal life.

Phil 3:13-14 “Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, Forgetting those things which are BEHIND and reaching forward to those things which are Ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.”

While she still learning and growing in her Personal Relationship with Jesus Christ, Justine started honing her skills as a singer and rapper. Signed to the Label Couffe Music in February 2009 and she made a decision to use her gifts as a Ministry for God.

“I’m just so blessed to be in this team, better yet family because that’s what they are to me and to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ using, talents we all have. To be a LIGHT unto to the world, its more than music for us, it is a Movement.”

The Vision Justine has for her Ministry is focused on young ladies everywhere and to be a voice for them. To relate with them through her music and she will use her Personal Testimony in her Lyrics so they can be encouraged to know Jesus Loves them and they are not alone when facing any situations.

Justine is currently in the recording process with Couffe Music and some of her music titled “Tu Amor”, “Seek HIS Help”, “One and Only”, “Tell Somebody”and her New Hit Single “Wake Up Call” are all soon to be released in 2010.
