D. Pight has been a leader since his youth. Before Christ he was living the worldly “good life” selling drugs for three years and getting arrested with many people following him. By the age sixteen he was arrested three times and expelled from high school. At the age of eighteen, a year that would change his life forever, God took him off the wide path and put him on the straight and narrow one. He was saved and began to use his leadership for a something positive. He is currently a youth leader at his church, Riverbank Christian Worship Center. It is amazing how God can change a life on such short notice.
As far as rapping goes, he always thought he would be a rapper or singer. Music has been his passion since childhood. His uncle had him and his siblings writing and recording songs since they were young. Pight didn’t know then that it was a gift God gave him. Now he’s being used to bring His kingdom glory and is excited to do the Lord’s work. Being a rookie in the music industry, Pight has no fears. 2 Timothy 1:7 says “God did not give us the spirit of fear” so, knowing that it is God’s will that empowers him, Pight presses on to make an impact in the business. Besides music, God is moving heavily in his life, strengthening relationships, and growing him spiritually. Whatever happens, he’s living for Christ!
